Finally, we caught smelt after 7 days. In the net #2 were 15 smelts. We collected them and measured in the Trout Lake Station Laboratory. Same the evening we have set all our nets and in the morning net # 12, net # 4 caught smelts. In the net #12 were dozens of smelts (total weight was 8.7 kg). We collected all smelts and measured 30 smelts from them for length, weight and scales for aging. As well, 50 smelts were used for identification sex ratio.

Finally! Smelt
